DreamPath Foundation is a public charitable trust operating from Bengaluru. Our work targets rural and underprivileged youth. We focus on empowerment through career awareness and guidance, counseling, mentoring, as well as life skills and employability skills education. Our interventions include workshops at schools or partner organisations, and are designed to fulfill the needs of high-schoolers and adolescents. Our activities include
- Conducting career guidance and life skills workshops for Class IX to XII in rural, semi urban, and urban areas
- Online workshops for students and teachers
- Employability skills workshops for UG/PG students
- Career counselling for the underprivileged and marginalized youth as well as children with learning challenges
- One-on-one career guidance at critical junctures like 10th / 12th grade
- Train-the-trainer sessions to expand our reach to more and more youth
We are a team of experienced professionals from varied backgrounds who facilitate the workshops and training programs. Since our inception in 2013, we have addressed over 36,000 students, conducted over 380 career awareness workshops, completed 1600 individual counseling sessions, and impacted children and youth in 12 districts of Karnataka and 2 in Maharashtra. Over 90% of our work is in rural areas. We urge teachers to sit through our workshops so as to equip them to guide children in their care, since they are often the first points of contact for students.
