Who We Are

DreamPath Foundation is a non-profit organisation operating from Bengaluru. Our work is centred around career awareness and guidance. Our workshops and interventions are designed to fulfill the needs of high-schoolers and adolescents. We are a team of experienced professionals from varied backgrounds who facilitate the workshops and training programs. Since our inception in 2013, we have addressed over 20,000 students, conducted several career awareness workshops and are guiding many children one-on-one in career exploration and decision-making. We have a special focus on underprivileged and marginalized youth, as well as children with learning challenges. We offer a whole range of child and adolescent friendly services in the field of career selection, mentoring, aptitude assessment, study skills and life skills development. ​DreamPath also undertakes teacher training programs in the area of career guidance.

Our Vision

Our vision is a society where all youth are sufficiently enabled to seek an occupation or vocation of their choice, ability, aptitude and means, thereby participating actively in its development and progress as a whole.

Towards this end, it is our effort to –

  • Create an informed, collaborative ecosystem of students, parents, teachers and institutions that positively affects career decisions of youth
  • Reach youth all over the country through workshops, programs, publications, expert assistance and technology
  • Seek and collaborate with partners and / or policy makers who can help further our mission

  • Facilitate self-assessment for students, in order to accurately identify interests and aptitude
  • Increase awareness of possible professions and corresponding education paths
  • Promote communication between guardian and child
  • Enable and encourage informed rather than ad hoc decision making
  • Provide a realistic view of careers and corresponding work-life
  • Enable interaction with professionals and experts in various fields
  • Inculcate appreciation of every profession and job and instill an unbiased view

Our Team

The DreamPath Foundation team is a group of experienced professionals from varied backgrounds. The core group of founders and trustees
is ably supported by a strong team of facilitators and counsellors who conduct career-related workshops, training programs and interventions.

Krupa_Chakravarty_team
Founder-director of Dreampath Foundation is an engineer and ex-IT professional. She is the dynamo that drives the Dreampath team with her sensible, open-minded leadership and genuine belief in the Dreampath vision.
Shilpa
A founder member, Shilpa provides expert mentorship and guidance to the whole team. She has a doctorate in Psychology and experience in public policy, the social sector, Indian psychology and teaching. She has worked with government bodies, NGOs as well as teaching institutions, apart from programs for corporates.
Volunteer
Software professional, life skills trainer and social worker, Veena has been associated with DreamPath since 2015. She actively coordinates and conducts workshops, and participates keenly in brainstorming sessions and team meetups. Her engaging personality and networking skills make her a great asset to the team.
Seema_Walunjkar_team
Seema spent about 18 years in IT before moving to the development sector in 2013. She joined the DreamPath team in 2017. Her quick grasp of issues, unerring focus on priorities and concise communication make her an invaluable asset.
jyothi-shanbag
Jyothi is a soft skills and career coach, writer-editor and holds an MBA. She is an enthusiastic, bubbly and reliable team player and handles social media and marketing for DreamPath.
Annam
With an MA in Child Mental Health, as well as 26 years of experience in the field, Annapoorni is DreamPath’s special education and life skills champion, guiding students, parents and teachers. She is also an advocate for sustainable living, walking the talk in a solar-powered, rainfed eco-friendly house.
NagamaniR_team
Nagamani is an engineer with industry as well teaching experience and has been involved in the social sector since 2015. She has worked with government school children and underprivileged women. She joined DreamPath in 2017. Her cheerful, down-to-earth demeanour, sincerity and hard work make her a great asset to the team.
Nandini
Nandini has done a stint in IT companies before switching to social causes and volunteering. She enjoys working in teams, and doing workshops in schools. She is an ardent dancer and music lover.
Siddarth-dreampath
Siddharth has been contributing to various initiatives in the DreamPath foundation roadmap. He is an IT professional with 20 plus years in the industry.
vaishali
Vaishali has been an IT professional, and a magazine editor-publisher. She has been involved in the social sector off and on since 2008, and has volunteered for DreamPath since 2017.
Praveen_Murthy_team
Praveen put in 30 years in the IT and Telecom sector before turning to the social sector. He joined the DreamPath team in 2021 and turns his hand to whatever’s needed, be it workshops, counselling or creatives!
Simi
Simi has 26+ years of global experience in the software industry covering the full software development lifecycle. She has also done Program Management and Marketing / Events. Currently, she freelances as a digital marketing expert, workshop facilitator and career coach.
Pallavi_Nagaraj_team
Pallavi worked as a software professional before switching interests to counselling, cognitive behaviour therapy and career guidance. She has been an enthusiastic and lively member of the DreamPath team since 2021.
Vandana-dreampath
Vandana is a IT professional who strongly advocates DreamPath's vision and helps out in her capacity whenever she can.
veena-hegde
Veena has been a teacher, as well as participated in various citizen movements for lake revival and neighbourhood improvement. She joined DreamPath in 2021, and brings to the team a fresh outlook, as also a wealth of connections.
Asha
Asha holds a BSc degree and has done a certificate course in counseling from Prasanna Counseling Center. I She has volunteered with SVYM/YFS tutoring children from rural backgrounds. She is a certified career counselor from Jnana Prabhodini, Pune.
After a 30-year stint in the Income Tax Department Satyavathi completed a PG diploma in Child Counselling. She is also a certified career counsellor. She has studied therapies like CBT, REBT, TA, etc. and worked as a mental health counsellor with the KA state government helpline 104 for 2 years.
